Due to continued expansion, Mardix are currently recruiting for an Electrical CAD Designer to work within a busy design team. The successful candidate will possess a clear understanding of electrical schematic diagrams as well as having knowledge of the design of protection, distribution and control systems of low voltage switchgear. Previous experience in AutoCAD and AutoCAD electrical would be advantageous.

 

Responsibilities would include; producing General Arrangement and Schematic drawings of Switchboards, Power Distribution Units, and, Distribution Boards as well as updating standard libraries of drawings.

 

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail. They must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility; in return for which a competitive salary will be offered. Good communication skills are essential as the job involves liaison with project managers and the production team on a daily basis.
